If you haven't heard of floor protection film, then you're probably still using paper or cardboard to protect floor surfaces when you paint or undertake construction work. But, did you know that's a major safety hazard and most workplace safety regulations require you to use a plastic film?

Fire Retardant
Most floor protection plastic sheeting is comprised of flame-retardant materials, unlike paper, cardboard or fabric which can all catch fire easily and quickly on a busy job site. Reusable

Floor protection film may be marginally more expensive than plastic and cardboard alternatives, but it also lasts longer, provides a slip-free surface, is sometimes reusable and it's often fire retardant. That makes it the better choice.
